Students of medicine from Faculty of medicine in Košice, Slovakia, organised School of healths for public. This event for broad public, while 4 stands were available on the spot. Student of General Medicine, Nikola Kapolková and chairperson of Club of public health, told us more: ,,We measured blood preasure, body fat, level of sugar and cholesterol in blood in our first stand. There were 164 people, who attended our stand and further 80 people, who visited stand of Antitabacco, where we measured level of oxid carboxide. We know, that it is not easy to give up smoking, so we will continue with these events also in the future“.
There was also Slovak Red Cross Youth organisation present in third stand, which showed Hospital at Mr. Bear – Model hospital, which helped small children between four to six years to overcome their fear from doctors.
Event was great success and confirmed leading role of Faculty of Medicine in Kosice in educating future leaders in field of medicine and dentistry.
